Hythe Arena: Public Skating and Shinny - no cost, helmets must be worn by anyone 18 years and older.
Public Skating - Sunday 3:00 - 4:30 p.m.  
Shinny Hockey - Friday 4:30 - 5:45 p.m.
                            Sunday 4:30 - 6:00 p.m.
Arena Ice rental fee  - $105/ hour

Spring Lake Recreational Park -- 16 km north of Hythe, a spring fed lake, over 90 feet deep, includes boat launch, camp sites on loop road, fire pits & firewood, picnic tables, community kitchen, fresh well water, man-made beach and play ground, hiking trails around lake, change rooms.

Local recreation possibilities include the full range of: 

Golfing in the vicinity of Hythe at Riverbend Golf Course (9-hole), located between Beaverlodge and Hythe, just off Hwy 43, 2 kms south on secondary Highway 671, nestled along the Beaverlodge River, excellent greens and manicured fairways. Clubhouse is an old railroad station fully restored, offering licensed dining & pro-shop, rentals & lessons.
